About the performance
Kurbenhaus. One performance, four bodies—nothing more than mere commodities. When the brothel closes its doors and the serpentine dances cease, the real party is just beginning. Changing clothes, wiping off makeup, excessive giggles, and a tipped-over glass. The glamour of fame blinds the child, the mother sings one last lullaby. A woman's position carries a double meaning; a man's position only one. How many words must be spoken before the tongue twists enough to explore the boundary between coercion and desire? How many rounds of applause does it take to bring down a dream world built on decaying foundations? Tell me, at the break of dawn, can you see what we so proudly celebrated in the last glimmers of dusk?
