Online festival / RESISTANCE! - Youth Festival of Modern European History
About the event
On December 4th at 16:00 CET, join us on Zoom for the grand finale of the international project Resistance: Youth Festival of Modern European History.
This final event will bring together all six performances from France, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy and Slovenia, offering a deep dive into their historical inspirations, creative processes, and unique methodologies. During the online session we will present the digital guidebook, an interactive online space that captures the heart of the project—blending methodologies, reflections from participants and mentors, historical contexts, and more.
As the concluding chapter of the Resistance project, this session is more than a look back. It’s a celebration of how history can ignite dialogue, inspire change, and connect generations. Through the lens of young creators, we’ll revisit the past to uncover its lasting impact on our shared present and future.
Be part of this special moment as we reflect on the journey and legacy of Resistance!

About the project Resistance
Resistance! Youth festival of Modern European History is an international project bringing together young people from six countries: the Czech Republic, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia. In most Member States of the European Union, the teaching of history in the formal education system is predominantly focused on national, if not patriotic, historical narratives. The result of this approach is that young people lack knowledge of the broader, transnational and common European history.
Resistance aims to foster a common culture of remembrance, mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue among young people from the six EU countries by commemorating important historical turning points and political changes in the 20th Century.
